The opening of the Jubilee Year in Ukraine, took place on December 27, 2024 in the Browary parish chapel. On that day, all the Sisters serving in Ukraine, together with the faithful of the Browary parish, participated in a solemn Eucharist presided over by Bishop Vitaly Kryvitsky, Ordinary of the Kyiv-Yytomyrian diocese.
The ceremony was also attended by priests with whom the Sisters cooperate on a daily basis. The Mass was a time of gratitude for 150 years of the Congregation’s existence.
After the Eucharist, the youth of the parish, under the direction of Sister Marta Bajkowska, presented a scene in the form of an interview with Blessed Franciszka Siedliska. The faithful and guests had the opportunity to learn more about the Mother Foundress and her entrustment to God, which gave rise to our Congregation.
At the end of the ceremony, participants were presented with jubilee rosaries and pictures with a prayer for families, which everyone prayed together.
After the Eucharist, the Sisters and priests went to a joint agape. It was a time of joy, conversation and sharing of gratitude for the beginning of the Jubilee Year in Ukraine.
