On the vigil of the Feast of the Holy Family, December 28, 2024, in Grodno, there was the opening ceremony of the Jubilee of the 150th anniversary of our congregation. We began the celebration in the cathedral with a presentation about the origins of Nazareth and the history of the life and vocation of Blessed Francesca Siedliska. This was followed by a Solemn Eucharist celebrated by numerous priests under the presidency of Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz, Ordinary Bishop of Grodno Vladimir Hulai, and Bishop Emeritus Aleksandr Kashkevich. The Mass was attended by numerous guests, especially the Association’s families, who came from various cities in Belarus.
During the sermon, Fr. Archbishop returned to the beginnings of the Congregation in our country. He spoke with gratitude about the Nazarenes and our ministry, especially during the difficult years of persecution and after the Church gained freedom.
After lunch at the seminary, we met together with guests to share our Christmas wishes. In a short enactment, the Association’s members once again thanked the Sisters for their spiritual care and the opportunity to build family love in the spirit of Nazareth.
We believe that the time of the Jubilee will be abundant in graces for the entire congregation and the Church it sacrificially serves.
