Jubilee opening in New England
The Sisters from the New England area met on December 7th to celebrate the 150th Jubilee of our Congregation. Sisters gathered for a prayer service together, which was followed by the sharing of a delicious meal and some homemade apple pies. Afterwards, the Sisters played a little fun with a YouTube Christmas Trivia game. It was a wonderful occasion to join together as a community in prayer and simply be with one another.
Jubilee opening in Des Plaines
Sisters at the Provincialate in Des Plaines, IL celebrated the opening of the Jubilee Year with Vespers and Mass. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. David Colhour, CP. Sisters brought forth symbols of our Jubilee year, one of them being an oil lamp with three flames, which is symbolic of the Holy Trinity, the source of our charism and each of our vocations. It was a joyous time to celebrate and give thanks for 150 years of our community!
