On August 22, 2020, Sr. M. Anna Macul professed her final vows. The Mass in her native parish of St. Teresa of Avila in Szczuczyn was presided over by Bishop Aleksander Kaszkiewicz. On behalf of the Congregation, Sr. Anna’s vows were accepted by Sr. Maria Błaszczyk, Provincial Superior of the Blessed Martyrs of Nowogrodek Province.
The situation in Belarus is very uncertain at this time. There are strikes and demonstrations against the government. Belarusians are fighting for their rights, freedom and independence. Important now is the testimony of our Sisters’ closeness and solidarity with the people. At this time, Sr. Anna’s “YES”, full of joy, faith and hope and freely pronounced to God is extremely important for the local Church. Sister chose the mystery of Jesus, the Source of Life. Our wish for Sister is that she will bring this Life to all to whom she will be sent. Let the testimony of her life, as Holy Father Francis writes, be contagious: full of serenity, fertility, tenderness and love, humble mercy.
