A retreat for girls was held in Nowogrodek (Belarus) from January 3-5, 2022. The theme was: What is in my heart? The meeting was attended by girls from various parishes in Grodno, as well as Lida, Stolbtsy, Minsk, and Nowogrodek. Conferences for girls were conducted by Father Alexander Fedotow. The retreat teachings and meditations were centered around the figures of Eve and Mary.
The participants of the retreat were accompanied by the same common desire: to recognize their vocation in life, which can actually be discovered in the heart, meeting with God there. Therefore, the girls were learning how to meditate on the Word of God.
Besides prayers and conferences during the retreat there was also time for evenings of recreation and watching movies, which helped to open to others, make new friends, and discover the joy of being in a community.
