LOCAL EXPLAINED

The logo communicates a powerful message of spiritual guidance, growth, and transformation under the nurturing hand of Christ. The combination of symbols and colours creates a visually appealing and meaningful representation that resonates with hope, positivity, and the potential for a vibrant life.

FROM THE EUCHARISTIC TABLE

The opening Mass of the chapter was celebrated by Cardinal Louis Antonio Gokim Tagle, who currently serves as pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization in the Roman Curia. For this time, thanks to media technology, all the sisters were able to connect via the Internet. In his homily, the Cardinal kept our attention on Jesus, whom the woman touched with faith and was healed, and in the second part on Jesus’ touch that restored the girl’s life. When we touch Jesus with humility, faith and hope, our lives become renewed, healed, begin anew. Today’s Gospel in this way connects to the chapter’s motto SEE I AM DOING A NEW THING…

TO THE CHAPTER HALL

The opening ceremony of the General Chapter combined two important places. It began with a prayer part in the chapel, and then all the delegates went to the chapter hall following the cross, which remembers the chapters under leadership of our Mother Foundress and is a sign of the spiritual unity of Nazareth. Each sister was called by Mother General Angela Marie, and responded: Here I am, send me. Open me to the new things you want to do. Mother Angela Marie in her word to the sisters, recalled the figures of Abraham, St. Peter, Blessed Sr. Gwidona, whose daily lives show that faith needs a step out, a step of trust, so that what is old passes away and all things become new (2 Cor 5:17).
