OUR PLACE IN THE WORLD AND THE CHURCH

THE RISEN LORD IS  IN OUR PAST AND PRESENT

GRATITUDE

We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to experience the retreat time, to Fr. Paul for the word he preached, to the sisters serving in the general house for taking on daily duties that allow us to participate fully in the planned days of the chapter, to all the sisters for their prayers. Thank God for every grace.

GIFT FROM THE USA

On this day of listening to the reports from the General Administration, we received some gifts from the Holy Family Province. Enjoy our “4 youngest members” of our Congregation (see picture below) and lessons they teach us.

REPORTS

After the retreat, the chapter moved on to daily work. The sisters familiarized themselves with the general state of the congregation. First individually by reading the reports of the Provincial and Regional Sisters, and today 4.07. the General Board brought its observations, which the Sisters shared in the forum. Mother General Angela presented the glories, shadows and challenges for our communities, Sr. Amabilis – the Secretary General put the statistics in numbers and graphs that make our perception of the congregation more realistic. Another report dealt with finances – it was given by Sr. Lucyna the General Treasurer.

AND CELEBRATION IN THE EVENING

The day of 4.07. in the USA is the proclamation of the Declaration of Independence of the United States from Great Britain, which took place in 1776. Since the morning, we have been remembering America, our sisters serving in the Holy Family Province. Prayers, wishes, decorations and festive recreation bring us all together in gratitude for the gift of freedom.
