We have begun a new formation year of an international group of Junior Sisters preparing for Perpetual Vows in Rome. We are finally together, 7 wonderful Women: 3 from the Philippines, from the Province of Mary of Nazareth: Sr. Marie Teresa, Sr. Marie Vianney, Sr. Shiela Marie and 4 from Poland: 2 from the Warsaw Province: Sr. Aleksandra, Sr. Milena and 2 from the Krakow Province: Sr. M. Aneta, Sr. M. Małgorzata. The Lord gave us a beautiful Word for this first day together: the Meeting at the Pharisee Simon and the adulterous woman who greatly loved. I am captivated by Jesus’ statement to Simon with the question: Do you see this woman? And then Jesus’ listing of the smallest of her gestures. I know that Jesus sees also these Women, who begin their 10-month journey together in Rome: in Nazareth, in the Eternal City, but most of all, inside themselves. He also sees everything they do for Him out of love. Thank you Jesus for this Your gaze, which gives only and as much as love and forgiveness, belonging and freedom.
